Peers need to be sovereign selves.

Meaning I take your points that “identity is an attribute between peers” and that “for community purposes (the commons) we need to move away from attribute based Identity by making the peer to peer links the building blocks.” I also salute your good work toward that goal.

So I should add that individuals need ways of managing their many and varied relationships with peers — as well as with the administrative systems of the world, which are not going away soon.
